Calbotes - 1st November

On the first of November was Calbotes which is another Spanish party they have.

All my friends and I went to the bars in the morning and then after we went up to the puerto which is where everyone goes on this day. The puerto is a big patch of country land.

At night we all went out but there was hardly anybody so we ended up going home early. (photos from Calbotes)

I will be home in less than 1 month now which is really scary. I can´t believe that I have nearly been gone 11 months, it seriously feels like yesterday when I was applying to go on a years exchange.

Haven´t got a lot of news except that I still go to school so still as bored as ever. haha

Can´t wait to catch up with everyone when I get back

Holidays with my Parents =)

Well..
I had a great 3 weeks with Mum and Dad. They came to Plasencia for 2 nights to get to know my host family and my town and then we went to Lisbon, Portugal for 2 nights and then to Lagos, Portugal to stay with Mike and Mo for a week. We meet up with Sandra and George who were over there as well. After a week we went to La Mata which is a little town in the south of Spain and stayed there for a week with Lynne and Lauren where we sunbathed everyday and got super brown =). We then returned back to Plasencia to stay for 2 nights before they both returned home. Thanks for coming Mum and Dad I had a really great time with you both. Love you. xXx

Well this week I have just started School and getting back into the normal routine.Since Lorena hasn't been here i've been spending every afternoon with Ana taking lots of photos.Here are some from this week... =)

Ferias en Almendralejo

Thursday and Friday of August Lorena, Rina and I went to Almendralejo in the bus to stay with Gloria for 2 nights.
In Almendralejo in August is there ferias therefore we were out everynight until 7-8 in the morning.
It was alot of fun with heaps of laughs but I definatly liked the ferias of Plasencia much more.
Mum and Dad are here in 3 days =)

AN afternoon with friends =)

Today we spent the afternoon in Torrelucia, then we went and watched our friends play soccer and after to the rana like always...
=)
We found in my friends bag a red lipstick and decided to take photos hahaha

Lunes Menor

Lunes Menor was the 1st Monday in August...

We went to Anitas house to play singstar first then later went to Marias to have pizza and drinks and then to the discotecas later at night.

It was alot of fun!

Martes Mayor was the following day but I didnt take my camera.

We started the day at 11am and went to botellon which was soooo hot then we went to the discotecas and didnt arrive home until 11..30 pm hahahaa... A really long day.

A Day in Madrid with Marije

Today I went to Madrid for the day with my Spanish tutor Marije.
We left at 7.30 in the morning and arrived in Madrid at 9.45.
We met up with a friend of Marije's who lives in Madrid and knows her way around.
She took us to all the tourist spots and even for a ride on a gondala (kind of thing) looking at the whole of Madrid, it was amazing.
We left for Plasencia at 7.30 at night. I love Madrid although there are cars coming from all directions.
