CACERES

Today we went to Caceres for the day to have lunch with Loli's sister and to look to the monuments.
Its Semana Santa here so there were alot of tourists...
We looked at the Plaza, the Cathedral and all around Caceres.
Caceres is the Province of Plasencia and is only about 40 minute drive from Plasencia.

Semana Santa (day 3) and Upes 18th

Today was Upes 18th birthday and we went to the bars for the day to celebrate.

We took her to get her tongue pierced, that was our present for her.

At night we went to the third day of Procesion parade because our two friends were in it!!!

Salamanca and Semana Santa

Today we went to Salamanca to look at all the monuments and of course we managed to fit in a little shopping:)

Salamanca is beautiful and has alot of tourists there, I was following a group of either canadians or americans they were speaking english anyway hahaha...

After we got home from Salamanca my friends and I went to the second night parade of Semana Santa(easter) which is highly celebrated in Spain. There is a different parade every night and tonight it was with horses. I was going to be in the one last night but it started to rain so we decided to flag it.

MEMPHIS!

You all have to come to Spain... its totally amazing!!!

I just got home from the big end of trimester party called Memphis... We went out at 11 this morning and got home at 11pm hahahaha!!!!
It was so much fun...

I have now made my own friends too so I wasnt clinging onto Lorena which I did when I first arrived:)

So.. Memphis is awesome... Everyone goes to botellon first which is drinking on the street then you go to the pubs.. I had a great day...

Man when i come back to SPain to visit im going to definitely make sure im here for this fiesta!!!

The weather was so hot too... Like NZ summer literally hahaha.. Everyone well most people were in singlets hahaha!!!!

Last Week

This week i had 4 exams. Well i sat 2... History and English. I didn't sit Economics or Computers because the teachers said they dont think i will understand anything...

I got both my marks back and was so surprised... I scored a 7-10 in history and in english I scored an 8.5/10 I was so angry.... I lost 1.5 points because the last question wasn't long enough... Long story but in class the teacher told me to write a short story and I did and she said it was too long so in the exam I thought when it said a short story write it short so i made it 1 paragragh and she said not long enough... Grrrrrrrr!!!!!

Other than school I have just been sleeping and partying!

Went to Botellon last night and had a real great time... It was so fun!!! We all started singing all their easy english songs they learnt hahaha eg, head shoulders knees and toes haha and 10 green bottles!!!! After we went to the pubs but they had people checking ID at the door(first time ever).. They wouldn't let us in so my friend called her boyfriend who was inside and works at the pub and he got us in:)

PUBS AGAIN!!!:)

On Friday night i went out again to another fiesta but it was just a quiet night...

Was alot of fun!!!:)

Most of my friends left early but Upe, Lorena, Laura, Eva, 2 other girls and me stayed til 2.30!!

Lorena was sick and it was like epic as, like on the movies(like a hose seriouly haha)

Upe and I looked at each other at both said como en la peliculas hahaha:)(meaning like in the movies)
