MERIDA 2008

On Wednesday I went with 50 other students from my school to Merida for the day, which is about 1.5 hours drive from Plasencia. We arrived at 10.30am and watched a performance in the roman stage which is a big outdoor theatre where famous singers and actors perform. We then went and had lunch and after went to the pubs for 2 hours as it was the national Merida fiesta that day. At 5pm we went back to the theatre to watched another performance. The second performance was very boring but I enjoyed the first. We then mucked around for a little while then got on the bus to come home at 8pm. The bus ride home was super fun as there was a karaoke game we were all watching on the TV and singing along. A song came on that was english and spanish and this one guy made the whole bus be quiet when the english part was on so I could sing by myself hahahahah!!!!!

Im loving Spain and dont want to come home :)

MANUELS CONFORMATION

Today was Manuels Conformation and we all went to the church for a little bit then we went for dinner and then to botellon. At 2.am we left botellon and went to the pubs :)

It was alot of fun!!!

We just danced and sung all night. Most of us went home at 4am but some stayed until later.

I didnt take my camera because its a hassle holding it all night but Lorena and i took a couple of photos before we left :)

Today i just woke up at 1.30pm haha and just chilling at home until night, then we are going to the park with our friends if the weather stays fine.

Anas 18th

Well on Saturday was my friends 18th birthday party.

We went to the country for a picnic lunch with all our friends then we went to botellon at night followed onto night clubbing hehe!!!
It was great fun. We bought a cake for botellon but forgot a knife so we had a cake fight insted!!!
We danced all night just as usual!


Missing you guys in New Zealand heaps but Spains honestly amazing!!

PUERTO FIESTA

Last Sunday we went to the country for a big fiesta with all our friends, to celebrate the Virgin Mary.

It was alot of fun!!!

My friends and I had a big trek up the bushes to finally get to the music and dancing!!

It wasnt like other fiestas, you dont get dressed up as it is in the country!!!

Last week i also got my nose pierced!!! and it didnt hurt either which is good!!
