A Day in Madrid with Marije

Today I went to Madrid for the day with my Spanish tutor Marije.
We left at 7.30 in the morning and arrived in Madrid at 9.45.
We met up with a friend of Marije's who lives in Madrid and knows her way around.
She took us to all the tourist spots and even for a ride on a gondala (kind of thing) looking at the whole of Madrid, it was amazing.
We left for Plasencia at 7.30 at night. I love Madrid although there are cars coming from all directions.

THE BOTELLON FOR MY BIRTHDAY =)

Well this Saturday was when I celebrated my birthday.
First of all, we all went to pizza hut for dinner (when its your birthday you take all your girlfriends out for dinner), then we went to botellon... a normal Saturday night but with lots more photos and laughs.
We stayed at botellon till 3ish in the morning then we went up to the discotecas and pubs, Lorena and Tacha were the only ones to get through the door because they had a person checking ID at the door if they thought you were under 18 and we all were stopped =(
SO we went to another pub :)
It was so much fun and we didnt get home til 6am ....

A Photo Afternoon =)

Well today we went and watched Tonette, Ivi and Maikel play soccer. We were getting a little bored so decided to take photos. After the match we went to the park and then back to my house. Ana, Lore and I decided mirror photos were the new in thing haha....

SPANISH BIRTHDAY

Today I had a really great birthday.

Last night I had dinner and a swim at Evas house then just before midnight we were on our way to the park so that i could meet up with Lorena, as soon as it hit midnight all my friends lit candles and held them in their hands and sung happy birthday to me in spanish then they all gave me these cards that they made. It was soooo nice. Then we went to the park and everyone wished me a Happy Birthday. I woke up this morning and had to go to spanish classes, when I got home I talked to Mum and Dad for a little bit. After I had a few tears ?? Then Loli said she had a surprise for me they bought me the coolest Adidas shoes ever =) and after lunch she bought out this beautiful cake she bought and it tasted really nice. This afternoon we are going to the park and hanging out with friends.
